We are very proud of our uniform and strive to maintain high standards.
The school colours at Templars Academy are Navy blue, white, mid to dark grey and black. Only plain black trainers or shoes are acceptable.
Please make sure uniform is clearly labelled with your child's name.
(Please provide drawstring P.E bag clearly labelled with your child’s name and class)
It is expected that children will wear school uniform throughout the year. All children must have a change of clothes including footwear for PE/Games lessons. Children need a drawstring bag in which to keep their PE kit.
The school does not allow inappropriate haircuts or excessive hair adornments (braiding, designs cut into the hair). Hair accessories should be in keeping with school uniform colours i.e. Navy blue, grey, black or white. If you are in any doubt please contact the school.
The interest of safety children are not allowed to wear jewellery or watches when taking part in physical education lessons, this this County Policy. The Governing Body wishes it acknowledged that the wearing of jewellery is not appropriate for children in school. Should any child have pierced ears they must be able to remove their earrings for all physical activities themselves. Children with newly pierced ears must wait for six weeks before they join in Physical Education lessons after which earrings are removed. No other form of body piercing is acceptable.
It is requested that all children wear safe and suitable footwear i.e. no high heels, wedges, platform shoes or open toed sandals as these are deemed unsafe by the Health Authority.
