Useful Information
Our school life this year:
PE- PE kits need to be in school on a Monday morning. Earrings must be removed prior to the children coming into school. We are not allowed to help them remove earrings and they will be unable to do PE.
Water bottles- Children should bring in their bottles every day to school and only the school bottle is permitted. Please make sure that these are well labelled with permanent markers or waterproof labels.
Reading books- Each week the children will bring home reading books to read at home. These will match their reading levels which were updated at the end of the last school year. Although your child may need support calling some words or reading with good expression and at a good pace, they should be able to read it independently. Reading books and diaries should be in school each day to read with an adult.
Homework- On Friday, we will set a piece of homework which should be returned by the following Friday.
Uniforms- At Templars, we pride ourselves in our appearance and in Charing Cross, being smart. The expectations for uniform are for all children, in all age-groups across the school. Children are required to wear full uniforms to school at all times. Please inform me or the school office if for any reason, it is not possible to do this and we will take this into consideration.
Communication – As we foster our new partnership as a class body, I aim to maintain open, amicable and respectful relationships. If you ever need to speak with me, I am available after school for brief discussions. If it is something lengthy and you need some privacy please feel free to arrange an appointment with me.
