Welcome to Primrose Place!

I am Miss Carragher and I will be your year 6 teacher. 

Three facts about me...

1. I am from Aintree, Liverpool where the famous Grand National horse racing takes place.

2. I have a degree in Musical Theatre.

3. I love travelling and visiting different countries; my favourite is Thailand!

I look forward to finding out all about you!

We will be joined by our wonderful LSA Miss Grace this year. 

Information for parents

PE -  Please ensure that the correct PE kits are brought into school every Monday so that your child can participate in the sessions. PE kits will be sent home on a half termly basis so that they can be washed and then returned to school. Earrings must be removed on PE days. Staff are not permitted to remove these for the children.

Water bottles- Children should bring in a water bottle every day. 

Reading books - Every week the children will bring home a colour banded book that is matched to their STAR reading level as well as a reading for pleasure book from the library. Please try to read with your child every day. When you do read with them, kindly make a note of the date and title in their reading records. Children are also able to record this themselves but have this signed off by you, if this is easier. Reading records and books must be brought to school every day.

Homework - On a Friday, the children will receive an English and Maths piece of work to complete at home. Homework should be returned to school for the following Thursday.

If you ever need to chat to me, I am always outside at the end of the day and we can either meet then, or arrange a suitable time.
