3-4 Year olds

At Templars Academy we take both the 15 hours early years entitlement and the 30 hours extended entitlement funding for children age three and over. Funded nursery places are available the term after your child turns three. 

Our nursery is open 5 full days. Nursery session times are: 8.30am - 11.30am for a morning session, 11.30am -12pm for the midday session or 12pm - 3pm for an afternoon session. Children are able to stay all day. 

Children can use their 15 hours funding across the week

• 5 morning sessions 
• 5 afternoon sessions
• 3 full days (Mon/Weds/Fri) - If using the 30 hour funding or wishing to pay.
• 4 full day (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri) - If using the 30 hour funding or wishing to pay.
• 5 full days - If using the 30 hour funding or wishing to pay.
• Additional sessions are charged at £12.00 per session and £2.40 for the Midday session (11.30am - 12pm)

The 30 hours government funding covers the 6 hours your child attends our setting daily. This does not include the 30-minute Midday session from 11.30am - 12pm. However, if you require your child to stay for this session, there is a small fee (in the Academic Year 2024-2025 it is £2.40). You will be invoiced for these sessions and they are payable in advance via parentmail or through the government childcare website.  If you do not wish to pay for the midday session then there is an option for your child to be picked up and taken home for the session from 11.30 til 12pm and then returned in time for the afternoon session. You will be required to commit to whichever option you choose for the term, this can't be made on an ad-hoc basis. If your situation changes then you are required to give us Four weeks written notice before any changes can be made.
