Little Bear Class (Age 2-3)

At Templars Academy we take the Government early education funding of 15 hours (30 Hours from September 2025) for children age two and over. These funded Nursery places are available the term after your child turns two.  Please go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for further details to see if you qualify.  Please note that this funding is the responsibility of the parent/carer and must be reconfirmed termly.

We are also happy for those not entitled to the funding to pay for Nursery sessions. Our Nursery sessions cost £12.00 per session and £2.40 for the extended afternoon session. From September 2025 our prices will be increasing to £14.00 per Nursery Session and £2.80 for the extended Morning Session.

Our Nursery is open 5 full days a week and is Term time only. Please see our Nursery session times and days we offer below:

5 x Morning Sessions: 8.30am - 11.30am

5 x Afternoon Sessions: 12pm - 3pm

3 x Full day sessions(Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday): 8.30am - 2.30pm

4 x Full day sessions (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday): 8.30am - 2.30pm

5 x Full day Sessions (Monday-Friday): 8.30am - 2.30pm

Extended afternoon session (If your child attends a full day): 2.30pm - 3pm

From September 2025 the Session times will be:

5 x Morning Sessions: 8.30am - 11.30am

5 x Afternoon Sessions: 12pm - 3pm

3 x Full day sessions(Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday): 9.00am - 3.00pm

4 x Full day sessions (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday): 9.00am - 3.00pm

5 x Full day Sessions (Monday-Friday): 9.00am - 3.00pm

Extended Morning session (If your child attends a full day): 8.30am - 9.00am

We like our two year old's to do a minimum of 5 sessions (either Mornings or Afternoons) or 3 full days, as we feel this gives the child a better chance to settle and also allows our staff to get to know the child better.
