I have worked at Templars for 19 years. I am married with 2 adult children. I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles and cross stitch.
In the first half term the children learnt many facts about The Stone Age and how people lived during that time. This work continues this half term. The children will have the opportunity to work in small groups and explore the objectives taught in class. They will then present their work to others to show what they have learnt.
This terms text will be 'The Stone Age Boy' by Satoshi Kitamura. The children will learn the text and then use this as a model to write a story of their own. We will also be writing diary entries.
This term we will be improving our skills in place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We have been looking at formal methods for addition and subtraction. We will also be carrying out practical work for multiplication and division before we learn how to record these methods on paper.
Forces and Magnets are the focus for this term. Will explore different types of forces and the affect they have on objects.
PE sessions will usually take place Tuesday and Friday. However, please have your PE kit in school everyday just in case we have a change to our timetable. Please ensure that PE kits are in school and they follow the school uniform policy. Where applicable could these also be named.
