Piccadilly Circus: Hello! My name is Miss Ashby and I have worked at Templars for the last 4 years. In this time, I have already worked in EYFS, KS1 and KS2!
I really enjoyed our 'meet the teacher' day. Each and everyone of you really impressed me and so I'm super excited about working with you all for the rest of the year :)
I LOVE being outside and I think outdoor learning is really important. Animals and nature are my passion. I have a dog called 'Tapla' who is the biggest bundle of fun ever, he is a very silly boy and he can do a special trick where he wrinkles the end of his nose!
Wood Green: Hello! My name is Miss Tattum, I am currently an NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher). I have previously taught year 4 and a mixed year group of year 1 and year 2. I have had the experience of working in EYFS during my training along with working with SEND pupils. I am super excited to start my journey as a teacher with all the lovely pupils I met on 'meet the teacher' day! I look forward to our year together!
I have 2 border collies, Kendra and Kody, and we love going on long walks around the country fields and down the beach! I also have 2 cats and a chicken!
I am a big fan of animals of all shapes and sizes!
Please ensure that your PE kit is in school everyday, just in case. You will need to ensure you have an indoor and outdoor kit available each week. You do not want to miss out! If children are wearing earrings then please ensure they are removed before these days. This half term PE will be regularly taught on a Thursday.
Please make sure you read at home at least 3 times a week and get someone to sign your reading record.
You will shortly receive a copy of the year 1 common exception words and high frequency words. We will be working on these all year so please read and test yourself on these words regularly at home.
