Learning
In the Autumn term, in history the children will be learning about The Romans. We will look at how the Romans lived, the different countries they conquered, their religion and how the way they lived has affected our way of life.
In Design and Technology, the children will design and build a small greenhouse. We will start by testing different materials. This will help us decide what materials to use and why one material is better than another.
In English lessons we will use different hooks to engage the children from Halloween to the amazing trip to The Royal Opera House to see the Nutcracker.
Maths lessons are taught in year groups, so the children are mixed in year group sets.
For more information about what will be taught - please see the medium term plan.
