Please see below details to access the blogs on Purple Mash.
Our main point of communication and access to learning during this time will be provided through Purple Mash.
Children's login details have been sent home via a letter. If you are having trouble accessing your child's Purple Mash login then please email me at the email address at the top of our web page and I will be able to help.
Purple Mash will be updated daily with learning tasks and activities, children will be sent an alert to notify them of new work.
You will find a blog titled "Hyde Park Corner Learning Blog" where I will explain learning activities and post links for videos and other fun/creative ideas. I have also created another "Blog Page" which children and parents can access to keep in touch, talk about their learning at home etc and communicate with myself.
Below is an image on how to access our "Learning Blog" through Purple Mash.

Nemo the fish is where I will be setting some fun and exciting new learning and the Crocodile is where you can keep in touch with me and let me know how your child is getting on with their learning. Alternatively if your child had a message or question for me then they can do this from here.
There are also lots of other fantastic activities you and your child can do together in Purple Mash. Once you entered your child's user name and password it will take you the front page. Click on Mini Mash and then enter Mini Mash. Your child will be familiar with this page as we use it all the time in school. Your child will have their own tray to store their work. Please ask your child to save this work as I will be taking a look to see what they have created. I cannot wait to see it!

Hello and welcome to Hyde Park Corner's class page.
In Hyde Park Corner we love to learn through play!
Any child's first year at school is the most important stage of their schooling journey. This year provides children with the skills and foundations necessary to later progress onto a more formal approach to learning as they progress through the school. In Reception we offer the children lots of opportunities to learn and explore through play within our continually changing provision areas (indoors and outdoors). The children will learn through a mixture of adult led and child initiated learning, both of which are as equally important in a child's development.
Book bags: Can the children please bring in their book bags every day. We will be regularly sending communication home in them and we ask that you try and check them every day for notes and important information.
PE: PE session will be every Thursday. Please make sure that your child’s PE kit is in on these days and please check that their plimsolls still fit each time the kit comes home for washing at half term. Earrings will need to be removed on PE days.
Please take a look through our page for all the wonderful and fun learning you can do!
To support the children learning their phonics we sing this song everyday in class. The children love singing this song and doing the actions. Ask them to show you. I'm sure you will love doing this too!
Ask the children to show you the actions.
